Dan D’Agostino Master Power 2+

The Dan D’Agostino Master Power 2+ combines circuitry derived from Dan D’Agostino’s acclaimed Momentum amplifiers with advanced features that make it ideal for 2.1-channel music systems and advanced home theaters. The amplifier easily delivers 300 watts per channel into 8 ohms, but this can be increased to an astounding 1,000 watts by bridging the two channels. Switches on the back allow bussing of one signal to both channels for biamping. RS-232 and 12-volt trigger inputs make the Master Power 2+ perfect for anything from purist two-channel systems to custom-installed multichannel home theaters.

Audiophiles often find it difficult to add subwoofers, because so few of the best preamplifiers have subwoofer outputs. The Master Power 2+ makes it simple to add subwoofers because it includes its own switchable crossover filters. Use them to filter the bass out of the main speakers, or the mids and treble out of the subwoofer. Of course, either or both channels can run full-range, too. Finally—all the benefits of subwoofers with none of the complications!

Dan D’Agostino’s hand-picked crew of skilled technicians builds every Master Power 2+ in D’Agostino’s Arizona factory, literally just a few feet from D’Agostino’s desk. To achieve the best possible sound quality and durability, the circuit boards use expensive, time-consuming through-hole construction.
