YBA Signature CD Player

Yves-Bernard André personally auditions every YBA Signature CD player for many hours during production, guaranteeing that the sonic signature is exactly as he wants. Each product is delivered with a certificate personally signed by him attesting to its performance. His signature also appears inside the machine.

Although simple in appearance, the YBA Signature CD player weighs 30kg, making it one of the heaviest players in its class. It is designed with great thought and is made from machined aluminium. While it switches on from the rear panel, in the centre of the embossed YBA logo is a thermo sensitive standby switch which responds to the touch of a finger.

The two selector switches are on the left hand side with the first handling the playback functions (play, pause and stop) and the second handles forward, backwards and skip track.

The rear panel includes two pairs of analogue outputs, an asymmetrical pair on RCA plugs and a symmetrical pair on XLR sockets. A single digital coaxial output is also provided.

YBA uses a totally symmetrical design in the YBA Signature CD player with only active components in the signal path. No passive components are used inside.
