Kimber KS 1021 RCA Interconnect Cable
“…the most sonically beautiful interconnects I’ve used.” — Paul Seydor, The Absolute Sound, Golden Ear Awards Issue 133
“… These interconnects turned out to be a real surprise. I was not expecting such excellent performance from the 1021s, but I found them to be among the three best interconnects I have heard in the past few years … It is easy to recommend Kimber’s KS 1021 interconnects to anyone desiring high-performance, reasonably priced cables … The best always interests me. Almost the best at a significantly lower price intrigues me even more. With the Select KS 1030 interconnects and the KS 1021s, Kimber Kable has achieved both. ” — Karl Lozier, Positive Feedback
Using improved field geometries and unique solid core conductors, the KS 1021 is a natural performer. Sharing design and construction techniques with the KS 1011, the 1021 offers the advantage of Black Pearl silver conductors for the signal and Hyper-pure copper conductors for the return.
About Kimber Kable
Established in 1979, Kimber Kable is the brainchild of inventor, engineer and entrepreneur Ray Kimber. Ray’s fondness for new discovery and experimentation actually began in the first grade when he built a crystal receiver, which he tweaked, without help or knowledge, by adding to it a set of army surplus headphones. It wasn’t supposed to work, but it did, he remembers.
After his experiences managing a theatre, a couple of concert tours, assembling professional audio sound and lighting matrices, and sales of high-end kits, he realised that cable was more than just merely important. “If weaving cable could alter the sound so significantly, I figured everything else about cables was on the table for discovery, rediscovery or reinvestigation.”
