Kimber Kable KS 1130 XLR Interconnect - Norman Audio

Kimber KS 1130 XLR Interconnect Cable

“…a listening experience that takes acoustic harmony up to a whole new level, to a place where the borders between art and technology become blurred.” — Matthias Böde, Stereo, November 2004

“… To those desiring the best, go with the KS 1030s with the Nextgen silver connectors—which are now standard though the older WBT can be ordered as an option. These are the finest interconnects I have ever heard in my music system. The silver Nextgen RCAs are not an option—they are a requirement. To get the best out of the best, do not ignore the 1030s’ requirement of 200 to 300 hours of burn-in time. The best always interests me. Almost the best at a significantly lower price intrigues me even more. With the Select KS 1030 interconnects and the KS 1021s, Kimber Kable has achieved both.” — Karl Lozier, Positive Feedback

The KS 1130 is the ultimate in balanced cable technology and performance. Comprised of Black Pearl silver conductors in conjunction with out dual concentric grounding format. The true potential of your balanced equipment will be fully realized with the KS 1130. All aspects of recorded music: soundstaging, harmonic integrity, dynamics (both subtle and great), as well as nuances presented with no limitation or fatigue, are available to those who desire the finest. The KS 1130 features “studio grade” XLR type connectors with silver plated contacts.

About Kimber Kable

Established in 1979, Kimber Kable is the brainchild of inventor, engineer and entrepreneur Ray Kimber. Ray’s fondness for new discovery and experimentation actually began in the first grade when he built a crystal receiver, which he tweaked, without help or knowledge, by adding to it a set of army surplus headphones. It wasn’t supposed to work, but it did, he remembers.

After his experiences managing a theatre, a couple of concert tours, assembling professional audio sound and lighting matrices, and sales of high-end kits, he realised that cable was more than just merely important. “If weaving cable could alter the sound so significantly, I figured everything else about cables was on the table for discovery, rediscovery or reinvestigation.”
