Metallurgy, geometry, dielectric & termination methods can vary greatly in USB cables and will affect sound. Silver signal conductors and silver plated power conductors and shielding increase cable bandwidth. This will always result in more accurate sound.

The Kimber Silver USB uses Pure Silver conductors for the signal, along with Silver-plated pure cooper power conductors and Silver-plated copper drain and shield wires. The shielded nitrogen infused Polyethylene dielectric with high air content is the same as you’d find on a premium audio cable!
